Hi,
So I've been away travelling the last year and haven't been on the forums at all or keeping abreast of the new features of VDJ. I was DJing while travelling but using only my trusty Hercules DJ Console MKII. Possibly the hardiest piece of hardware in the world + excellent value for money. I've been to a lot of Soth American & Asian countries over the last year and I have to say VDJ is EVERYWHERE! But due to pricing and importation problems a lot of DJ's are using a laptop only set-up with just one soundcard. Suffice to say they were blown away with the HERC, I'd love to see hercules push this unit into these markets as it would really open up things.
Also how good is VDJ looking now, excellent additions to the GUI the song position markers at the top are excellent. Kudos to your graphic designers it now looks as good as it preforms.
Right so down to my issue. I'm having a party this Saturday as a welcome back thing and I want to hook up my Xone:3d to VDJ. However I cannot work out how to encode the jogs, sliders and endless pots. I have looked at a view posts and read the wiki and the term post but I'm still in the dark. What I need is someone just to tell me how to map the jogs on the Xone to be exactly like the jogs on the HERC and I think I'll be able to work out everything else from there.
Can anyone help? |
