Hi guys, sorry to be a pain and ask this question which has been documented again and again. However, Just about to order my Sony Viao Laptop from insight: http://uk.insight.com/apps/productpresentation/index.php?product_id=SOYACW1S1W&nbs_search=C%3D102%26S%3D1015%26lang%3Den-gb%26K%3D%26M%3D%264220v%3DCore%2B2%2BDuo%26SB%3Dplh%26P%3D9 I have a few hopefully simple questions which I could do with some expert advice! 1) Windows 7 looks sound to use so I'm going for that. Will 64 Bit make ANY difference on the VDJ6 Software, or what i'm currently on (VDJ LE that came with my RMX) 2)Now there are driver updates as of 12th November for the RMX will I have any problems making it work on 7? 3) Is the new VDJ6 running smoothly for people using the RMX set up on Windows 7? I have a gig next weekend and my Acer has packed in so I urgently need to order this Viao. Laptop looks a decent spec - just need to know if it will run Windows 7 Virtual DJ LE or Virtual DJ6 RMX Console Thanks in advance Matt |

All running sweet as.... :-) I'm all video all the time too. The DPC Latency checker is showing all tiny green bars even with the wireless switched on!!! :-) |

Sound good to me. Brilliant. Thanks for your input. Will get it all ordered today. |

Hm...just got my new Vaio, installed Hercules RMX after getting the download drivers for Windows 7 from the site, installed Virtual DJ - all fine. Except I keep hear the music "clip", like the music is jumping or pausing. Extremely annoying. Now trying to uninstall as many programs as possible that came on the fresh machine to see if that addresses it. |

Try Config/Performances - set Presets slider to Fastest and Soundcard latency to Auto..... that should help. |

don't go daft uninstalling, first off delete or disable anti virus while you go through your initial testing, and maybes disable the uac, nothing else for the time being, to many people are to eager to disable everything they can see sometimes this is more detrimental to your system than what you think will be an improvement. |

I've got everything fixed now - but make sure you don't install the RMX drivers that come with the Hercules, and instead just download the Window 7 drivers using the link above and install those on a Windows 7 machine. |
