Hi all.
Been about a month, bought the pro full, learning, trial and error, reading, really having fun with this software. It beats having to search for load and cue CD's.
I have my first wedding coming up. Can someone save me a bit of time and tell me how I can set up a playlist of cocktail and dinner music that will mix into eachother on their own, while I am eating dinner? I'm sure there is a way. Any tips would be great.
Thanks everyone for all your help. As I learn the software I hope to help a newbie myself on the forums one day.....

I would make a virtual folder before hand...you do that by first clicking the crate virtual folder button(bottom left) and just drag and drop your songs into the folder... after you do that all you have to do is drag that list to autoplay once the time comes..

Either that or simply drag and drop a number of tracks into the sidelist and hit automix...(",)
I've used this once or twice myself...i took a '101 Party Hits' album onto the sidelist and let it work it's way through. The album contains older and newer material and because most of the stuff is fairly upbeat you'll see the guests tapping their feet and drumming their fingers fairly early on...:o)
Good luck on your first wedding by the way and welcome to VDJ!!!
Keep spinnin'...(",)

@John - Pionara has your best solution but missed one critical point. Once you have your playlist set-up in the sidelist, click on the paper icon and click save so that you have the playlist for future events and/or reference.
@Darcym - right clicking on the cue point in the waveform display and selecting delete will erase the hot cue. For other information on VDJ and how-to's check out the manual here: http://www.virtualdj.com/images/pdf/VirtualDJ%207%20-%20User%20Guide.pdf
Hope that helps.
