Is there a button or possible to map the Denon HC4500 to change the current BPM to closest integer?
I mean if the current track is 125.42 BPM I want it to 125.00

i don't think that's the goal djdad, I believe Mr Jackson actually wants to change the tempo.

Does he mean "change the display of the BPM" or "change the actual playback BPM"?
That is the question.....
IMO changing the display is a bit odd, because then you'd not know whether two tracks showing 125 would mix or not - because one could be 125.1 and the other 125.9

Hey guys!
I need the BPM to change to the closest integer, because I am using an external machine (Korg Kaossilator) to add rhythms. And it's easiet to sync the things if BPM is spot on integer.

The small yellow Kaossilator? Is the BPM on that accurate enough?
So if you set the Korg to 125 would it really be exactly 125?

Yes, with a USB to DIN MIDI cable. From what I can find online, the USB connection can accept a MIDI clock, but it's not as stable as when using the DIN input.
Also of course, the clock out of VDJ is only as good as the CBG. The BPM display in VDJ is only saying "the CBG is this tempo", not necessarily the track itself.

Well, I would prefer not needing more hardware like USB cables and such.
I aim for a clean system with only USB between the HC4500 and PC.
If it would be possible I just need VDJ to round off to closest integer.

No way to do that as far as i know.
Only way is to find a way (hardware or software) to pass the BPM of the track to the FX/Sampler unit.

What about mapping buttons to make very small + or - pitch adjustments, so the BPM can be "fine tuned" to be precise?

That can be done, but it's a bodge, You could get two pieces of HW and set the bpms absolutely equal and they'll slip. (solid state electronics are rarely exact) Given that VDJ (I think) works to at least 3 decimal places, but only shows (as standard 2 d.p.) without riding the nudge/pitchbend (entirely possible, actually sounds quite good if you pull it off) it will slip over the course of a few minutes.
The Midi clock is there for exactly this reason.
