go into your browser settings (in VDJ8) and see how long the time is for history delay. default should be 45 seconds

yes i thought of that too, i even changed it to a lower time to play to do counted. even my library is not picking it up either, VDJ gods do you have any ideas here.

Make sure the deck faders are turned up far enough. If you run the faders below a certain point then the track won't be recorded as played.

Hi Guys and Gals. My qusstion is a small one. I recently began using VDJ8 and I notice I no longer have the recently added folder and the compatible songs folder that I have in VDJ7. Is there a way for me to turn these on in VDJ8?? Thanks for any and all help.

Not really, depends how dead it is and if you're willing to spend the money for a specialist.

Are you sure the HDD is dead? Not only is the HDD protected by the casing, but laptop drives should be shock resistant too.
Just because the laptop doesn't start, don't blame the HDD straight away. Take it out and try accessing it from another computer.
The most important thing though, dead HDD or not, is to KEEP BACKUPS OF YOUR FILES!
