When I exit the program by clicking the RED X the program is not fully shutting down and is not saving settings.
When I check Task manager it is still running in the background.
I think this may have something to do with Ask.The.DJ
when Ask the DJ Monitoring is off the program does not shut down properly either.
When I shut down VDJ from the task manager it is not saving settings either.

Hi, I have had the same issue today, just testing it ready for next weekend, when try close Virtual DJ from the X, it'll still show as a process in task manager and will not exit this, even when you try use the exit program command or right click, exit etc. Only way to clear it was to reboot laptop. Not an ideal situation. Running Windows 10 x64
