Hi, having problems VDJ 8 with my MacBook Pro. Every 4 seconds or so, the decks on screen keep slowing down and juddering. It isn't affecting the sound, but is driving me mad. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Thanks

Could It be the skin?

I don't think so. It doesn't happen on every track, so I'm thinking maybe a loading issue as my drive is so big. Any ideas?

I think it is related to a graphics issue. Try to run VirtualDJ UN-Maximized. And make sure not to stretch the image. Also, use skins that match the resolution of your screen. Scaling smaller or larger skins to match your screen is stressful on the GPU.

When looking at the screen, it's actually the wave line that's juddering slightly, which causes a problem when lining up mixes.

I haven't been using 8 for that long (always used 7), so I'm not too sure how to change the skins or resolution on them?

Is your screen 1080P?

V8 skins generally only come in one resolution. [You're talking about a v7 practice]
