I am using 8.2 on a MacBook Pro retina. Was using Bootcamp but last weeks crash has put me off so going with El Capitan this week.
I mostly use Vob files which are 48000 but when I change this setting, it doesn't remember it and keeps reverting back to Automatic 44100. Any ideas?

I've tried selecting it with the pulldown menu, still reverts back to it as soon as I come out of the settings menu.

You may have to go into the Audio MIDI setup program on your mac then and change the samplerate there instead of from within virtualdj.

Thanks for the replies - how would I do that? Not sure!

In spotlight start typing "audio midi" and it should come up.
From there, select the device/sound card you are using, and change the samplerate to 48000

Thanks - done that for Internal Speakers. I'm using a Mixdeck Quad though so USB Audio - will that show in there when it's connected and will I have to change it for that? Just thinking now, maybe when I connect it up later it would allow me to save the setting in VDJ for the Mixdeck Quad... Will feel a fool if it does...! Can't test it yet though!

Maybe the Mixdeck Quad isn't capable of working at 48000 and that's why it changes back.
It may be a hardware limitation. Considering the Quad plays CDs I would say that 44100 would be most likely.

Yes, you are correct. Just tried the audio setup with Mixdeck plugged in - 44100 only.
