I had a gig Saturday and for some reason my left deck on Pioneer DDJ SX2 controller stopped working. I could still pay music on that side but could not scratch or move the song around. What could be wrong?

Would help to know if the controller was assigned to the correct Decks (from VDJ Settings ->Controllers tab). Not sure what happened there, but if e.g. the unit for some reason was assigned to decks 5,6,2,4 or other combination, left side would not control left deck. Was just the DX2 used as controller , or was there another one as well ?
Also are you sure the selected Deck on the Left side of the controller was 1 ?
How did you resolve this issue that night ?
Was there something that you did or mention before that happened ?
