Good morning

Relatively new user here. Having used pretty much all the DJ software out there, there is one thing about VDJ which is slightly 'off'.

The filters are WAYYYY too sensitive!

I would like to scale them down to about 10% of their setting for the full rotation of the knob.

I've tried 'filter_mutiply 10% & filter' but nothing happens. I have actually tried a range of different combinations with no change.

I've also tried all 4 settings within the option and can't hear the difference between any of them.

Can anybody help???

have you tried setting "filterDefaultResonace" to "subtle"

Also try deleting the file Documents > Virtualdj > Plugins> nativeFilter.ini (when VDJ is closed) then restart.

The original ini file could have become damaged and that could be the issue.

I will try re-uploading tonight.

Changing to subtle makes no difference unfortunately.

Are you sure
Because I believe I can tell the difference...
I made a video about it a while back:

Anyway...
You can remap the filter and remove the resonance part by remapping the filter knob on your controller to:
filter & filter_resonance 0%
Or or the custom knob, if you are not using a controller

Thanks Klaus - but I must be tone deaf.

I agree with trying the script in the link above

This should be about the 10% you want:
param_multiply 0.22 & param_add 0.4 & filter

As a test you can try mapping it to the custom knob, and see how the filter knob reacts on the skin when you turn the custom knob
(I don't think the custom knob will then animate when you turn it using the mouse - it probably don't get the multiply and add parameters - but you'll get the picture, and the script is probably going on a physical knob anyway)
