A Man and His Music
If you want to loop a phase in a song, let's say "Hit me with your best shot", you will press loop in at "Hit" and loop out at "Shot". So now you will have a loop that says, "Hit me with your best shot" over, and over again, until you hit loop out again. Then the song will continue on it's merry way.
