i have VirtualDJ 8 Home PLUS License for NMMXTP3 as soon as i start using it ..after couple of min laptop shutsdown.. please help

Could you tell us the make and specifications and operating system of your laptop and the version and build number of Vdj you are using.

its basically when i connect my Numark mix track pro 3 controller to laptop ... it plays for 2 mins the laptop shutsdown..if i remove the controller it works fine ??
laptop has windows professional 7 ver.

Without knowing the spec of your laptop its hard to say, but I am suspecting that it is old and underpowered for Vdj8.2. I think it sounds like a thermal shut down.
Let us know the model. Ram. Processor etc.

If the entire laptop shuts down, it's indeed either a driver problem or hardware that's broken.
Graphics drivers are the first I would try to update, if that doesn't work you'd have to look in the windows system event log for clues on what is failing.
