For PC? It doesn't say...

It's a trojan / virus, and it is removed (autom) from my pc.

No it's not. Your software is giving you a false positive. Atomix would not upload viruses to their web site.

I tried downloading it but Chrome is saying "Fix VirtualDJ Hostzip is dangerous. so chrome has blocked it." I'm getting the message that vdj is unstable and I'm not sure what else to do. Any suggestions?

Don't use chrome to download.

How do I add it. I tried open, I tried save but I'm not sure where to extract the addon or how to use it. Thank you

Or just modify your hosts file manually. Google tells you how to do it.

As much as that statement is true, web sites do get hacked.

The tool registers as positive @ 25 different A/V scanners.

(I downloaded it, and submitted it to Virustotal.)

Still, it might not be infected but behaves like it. And if that IS the case, then maybe may I suggest an script/powershell/vbs or the likes (at least for PC) to solve this. The exe file is just hiding what its doing.. :(

Kind regards,
Christian

It's the virus detection software which is the problem. It's trying to be smart, and wrongly assuming that the addon is a virus because of what it does.
