Topic: My cue pads don’t have the rapid touch response.

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Good day. I’m on my iphone and I don’t see the search function hoping to see if someone has already posted this issue.
I added a new mac book pro with Mojave to my ddjsz2 and lost some functions. I was able to go through the options menus and correct some of the settings but am unable to get the response to my cue points/pads anymore. I was using an older imac with mojave so it isn’t mojave. I installed the latest firmware. In pioneerdj, there is a driver for catalina and later which I will try later. Was hoping there was a setting in vdj that I needed to tweek. Salud.

Probably just the quantize function that snaps to beat.. if you feel that its not "rapid"

Try turn off smart cue (small radio dot next to the hot cue pads), alternatively turn off smartCue in settings.
Or set globalQuantize value smaller, for example 0.25 for quarter of a beat

On same topic (ish) you might also want to try hotcueMode play vs stutter..
Some prefer stutter (play is default)

If I'm not mistaken, SZ2 has a "Quantize" button, right ?
If so, you can use that button to turn on/off quantized features
