strangely while playing deck 3 or deck 4 as a rightvideo there is no video from deck 2 when using over_video
everything is reported correctly, deck 2 is the correct over_video but only the current channel or deck display
it looks like right side of video crossfader overwrites deck 2 output with current rightvideo deck instead of using it directly
This the same with deck 1 while playing leftvideo
exactly like with transitions and video multi_transitions where deck[0] and deck [1] being assigned left right decks not giving the possibility to get access to them

as well when a deck is selected to be view on both sides of video crossfader it only display when crossfader is left side and disappears when crossfader is right side

Which skin are you using ?
If a custom skin, what do you have for <video ... > line in xml ?

It's one specialized skin you know for years KIM-2 created by DJ DennYo for KIMBOTEC
I reimplemented one of your own solution in KIM-2 skin
I rewrited it to use new recent skin engine and beautify ... reduce code by 2/3
added some features
can mail you new version if you wish
this apply to any skin with more than 2 decks which exposes the videos (including default)
tested with

<video source="channel" chan="rightvideo">
<video source="deck" deck="rightvideo">
...
side effect:
