Win10 v8.5-64 b6477 sample packs not installing from Extensions download. the files download but do not install and are not seen in file tree in UI - tried this with both video and audio sample packs

Works fine here. Can you create new sample banks yourself? (Maybe a permission problem writing to Documents\VirtualDJ\Sampler ?)

creating a sample bank wasn't the issue - that works fine. I was helping another user on the FB group to test this same issue and confirm. clicking Install downloads the sample pack but does not show.
after some more digging - instead of showing right away it takes a re-start for it to show in folder tree on left of skin.
weird. don't remember seeing that before but might be because I always unzip them first and put in folder so I can edit them how I like

Most of the time the name do not match and it's not trivial to find it
there is not always a sample bank assigned
Yes folder tree do not refresh (as any other part of the browser)
That's weird but you need to
1) close the sampler (or other initial folder)
2) click any other "not empty" folder
3) open sampler (or other initial folder) again in a way to refresh
This is the same with filter folders, playlists ...
