Topic: Virtual DJ running in VM with Traktor a10

I probably have a somewhat unusual set up, and this might not be the best place for a response, however. I'm out of ideas now

- Virtual DJ running in a Windows 10 VM via Unraid
- Traktor A10 connected via USB
- 2x Pioneer 850 CDJ's connected to A10
- ASIO4ALL drivers installed

I have a weird situation where something will happen that causes VDJ to stop playing. The waveform for each deck will then rapidly flicker from left to right. All controls on the CD decks will no longer respond. All the lights on the A10 will light up.

Unplugging/Re-plugging in the A10 will occasionally solve the issue, but will 9 times out of 10 happen again. At that point, only a reboot will solve the issue.

I'm not entirely sure if the problem lies with Virtual DJ, with ASIO drivers, or the fact that I'm running it inside of a virtual machine.

Has anyone else suffered anything similar to this?

try and set all the USB hubs to never sleep or go into power saving in the device manager.

I'm surprised it works in a VM at all :-)
