I was totally jazzed when I found that AtomixMP3 would let you overlay samples, but never use the feature due to the fact that you have to create all the samples before hand. I would like to be able to play a track, sample a chunk of it that then gets saved to one of the 12 sample hotkeys. Much like you can do with the Pioneer DJM 700 mixer.

These features won't be in 2.1 but if you keep bugging the team you might get them in 2.2+ or whatever number is next.

I think I have the solution for you, you only need atomixmp3 2.0 full.

1.- Play the song which you need to catch the sample.
2.- Press "R" (Start Recording).
3.- You record your desired sample.
4.- Press "R" (Stop Recording).
5.- You can normalize, etc. your recorded wav sample (Perhaps sometimes you don't have time to do this step, well it's not necessary then).
6.- you load your wav sample in one of the 12 decks.
7.- You play your sample.

That's it. ;-)
