Topic: [NEWS] VirtualDJ 5.0 rev4 is released - Page: 1

Dieser Teil des Themas ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten

Hello.

We just released a new version, called "v5.0 revision 4".

As the name hints, this version doesn't really bring any brand new feature.
Instead, it's all about stability.
We postponed the new-features-list for the next v5.1, and in this version we only focused on fixing every single bug, crash, freeze, glitch or other small annoying things that have made their way in the previous revisions of version 5 (and before).

So this "v5.0r4" is probably the most stable version since AtomixMP3 2.3.

I know some of you have been complaining that Atomix Productions was getting too focused on not-essential-for-everybody-features instead of reliability. We have heard you, and here is the answer. I sincerely hope it will satisfy your expectations.

Bravo!

Against my best judgement, I'm gonna' use it at a wedding today!

I figure "hey!" 5.0 rev3 crashed twice yesterday during a wedding, could it get any worse?

crash guard didn't seem to recover anything, it simply allowed you to finish the song that was playing, cue up winamp, hit recover, vdj crashes, then you restart and keep on truckin' along!

other than that, I've been very happy with the progress. I know it takes time, and lots of troubleshooting.. you'll never hear me complain about bugs!

I appreciate all the hard work stef!

Crashguard fixed, and hopefully all crash bugs too ;)

Rev 4 is pretty damn solid :)

Also, Please note that the included manual from the install is updated. So, please refer to the manual for any of the Configuration dialog changes and you will probably find your answer.

My Documents -> VirtualDJ\\VirtualDJ 5 - User Guide.pdf

One key explanation added is on page 19 which talks about how the Automix mix points are used during automix. For all the automix user's I strongly recommend you read this section.

Hmm.. just be sure that u dl the correct one n save it in one of ur prefer folder in ur system.. After that.. go to that folder n u will see the new dl file.. Click the exe file n start installing n be sure to place it over to ur existing folder where u have ur v5 r2.. It will then automatically upgrade:) Hope i explain well.hee hope that helps ya:)
