As I said not so long ago when we released v5.0.rev4, Atomix will now be uncomprimising regarding the stability of the software.

Some few bugs have been identified since the release of rev4, and rather than waiting for the release of v5.1 to include the fix, we decided to release again a new "revision", that doesn't add any new feature, but just make the software even more stable.

We of course strongly advice everyone to download and install this new revision, even if it doesn't add visible enhancements. As they say, better safe than sorry, so even if rev4 is already very solid, you'll be even safer with rev5.

Version 5.1 is still being developed in parallel and should be available soon.

The more visible fix that you'll see in rev5 are listed below:
- new ClipBank plugin v1.1, much faster and much more stable.
- xponent and bcd3000 support fixed
- fixed .m3u folders don't show up if no subfolders
- fixed freeze if too many * in the search field
- fixed crash when changing to a skin with a resolution higher than the screen
- fixed napster browsing
- fixed random crash after searching
- new action clone_deck_nopitch

You can really tell that atomix have stepped up their game recently (No doubt thanks to, at least in part, the the deals with numark and pcvj).

(Also, I'm sure that like me, everybody else is really thankful for all the revions of 5.0 rather than having to wait for 5.1 to get added stability.)

Nothing changed to the database support.

Excellent, just tested my Xponent mapper, and it works :) Will be giving this release a stress test over the next few days before using it Thursday, but I have faith :)

Does anyone know if this new version works with the NuVJ? Still using 4.3 because of this. I see that 4.3 is no longer on the DL list.

So it's a full install over the 5.4 version, no uninstall, then reinstall.

Yeah, this is good. It feels more stable than the last one. Great Job. Everything seems to be working fine.

Just realized there wasn't a Virtual Vinyl download available yet. :-( I use Virtual Vinyl over VDJ. The stock Numark VV skins fit my laptop better for some reason.

why doI still have to enable general midi in order to get my bcd3000 to work when you can activate the bcd separately?

Disable general midi and enable only BCD3000 icon if you want to use only BCD3000 controller.

Before virtual dj I used bpm studio.
You could wait for years before they came with a new revision.
Better solve the most off the problems quick instead of waiting too long for just one fix !!!
