VIRTUAL DJ SOFTWARE - Popping sound while loading karaoke zip files

I tried to use a different karaoke zip file and same thing happens. I use many different companies such as sunfly ect... intel 20" mac dual 2.4 3gigs of ram. brand new. running ox 10.4.11 I've been a mac user since 1994. I also am a pc user with Virtual DJ. Same files work fine.
