Well, Im' not sure what you mean but. Just now I activated "Timecode" and hit ok. No crash. But if I open "Timecode config" and then just press ok it does crash! This time I did not have the Hdjc connected so there is no signal from anything.
Hope this any help to you. I can do more test if needed ofcourse.. |

Is it TCCD or TCV u using? N what is ur hardware?
So u were saying that if u open the timecode config n just press ok then it crash?
Could u hook up ur hdjc with ur mac n see if it crash again or is there any error etc...?
Also check in ur herc control panel, set the volume slider abt 3/4 or less than that.

Well lets see.. When it happened the first time I had 2 CDj800Mk2 connected. That time I was at the a club and were about setup my system and It crashed. I got stressed and didn't have time find solution lucky me I had version 5.07 still.
Well did some testing here at home now and...
- With hdjc connected it still crashes when I hit "ok" in "timecode config"
I deleted "com.atomixproductions.virtualdj.plist" to reset the settings.
Still the same
If I choose the "hdjc" soundcard image with timecode active it crashes.
If I just use "hdjc" soundcard image without timecode it works fine.
The reason I wanted to config timecode was because, player 1 plays backwards so i just wanted to turn off "invert" now I did it manually in the plist file so it works fine.
But It does not feel safe and stable to use it like this.
-So one of the problems is that I can config timecode but I can't click "ok" when done, because vdj crashes! -Then choosing "hdjc soundcard symbol" with timecode activated makes vdj crash.
Hope this is a little help to you!
At home I use an old Numark CDN88

Hi Nator,
U mentioned HDJC souncard image?? is this via bootcamp u using cos if u using on mac os, u need to select it as 4 in 4 out devices n choose herc aggregate device n update the herc to the latest driver for mac.
Also have u use the pro tccd that is minus 13db for ur CDJ n numark. It seem that u use the consumer tccd that can crash or distort the wave of the cd deck that u are using as i koe pioneer do have a high output for this n i have numark mp302 n it need to use the pro tccd.
If u using bootcamp, try updating the drivers too..
I will dl v5.08 later this wkend (As i koe V5.08 only a fix for rmx user so i did not upgrade) n try with my herc n will let u koe.

No it's not Bootcamp. The version 5.08 has this image... And there is no problem with the signal I have tried both cd versions (Pro/Consumer) still the same.
Good Luck!

Never had the time this couple of weeks to test V5.08 to be honest.
I'm truly very sorry about this and the delay:(
Hopefully this will be resolved soon.
Best regards.

This issue relates to a bug in the timecode engine with aggregate cards the mk2 creates one in its driver.
Hopeful for a resolution for 5.1x |
