SETUP
Step 1. Connections
Connect the Behringer CMD-DV1 with your computer using the provided
USB cable.
Step 2. Drivers
No drivers are required to be installed. The Behringer CMD-DV1 is a USB Class Compliant device and your Operating system will automatically install the necessary drivers when the unit is connected to your computer.
Step 3. VirtualDJ
Install VirtualDJ 8 from
http://www.virtualdj.com/download/index.html (in case you have not done already)
Start VirtualDJ and
login with your Account credentials.
A Pro Infinity, Pro Subscription or Plus CMD-DV1 Controller License is required.

A detection window will appear when the unit is first connected with VirtualDJ, verifying proper connection

ready to operate with VirtualDJ
AUDIO Setup
The unit is not offering any built-in audio interface and VirtualDJ will use your computer’s built-in sound card by default (if not any other is chosen).

1 BUTS 1-8Buttons 1-8 offer different functionality depending on the selected mode
In Slicer mode : The 8 numbered buttons repeat a Slice of the 8-beat pattern
In Hotcues mode (default) : Assign a Hotcue 1 to 8 at the current position or jump to the Hotcue point if assigned
In Hotcues store mode: Assign a Hotcue 1 to 8 at the current track's position.
In Hotcues Delete mode : Delete the assigned Hotcue point2 BUT MODESSLICER : Sets Buttons 1-8 to Slicer mode
ERASE : Sets Buttons 1-8 to Hotcues Delete mode
STORE : Sets Buttons 1-8 to Hotcues Store mode
When all SLCER, ERASE and STORE buttons are off, the Buttons 1-8 are in default Hotcues mode
PHRASE : When enabled, the LOOP buttons offer different Auto-Loop sizes
