Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I would never sell mine even doug I send more time on the vynils but this is my go too controller just a lil big to carry around in the flight case get lighter carry bag and you good to go if like to scratch and cut this is way to go they will never build sum again like this support both serato and rekordbox I heard the sz2 can’t support rekordbox but I have the sz1 and it does great controller man
I recently owned the Numark NS7 II. I was always I Numark fan but this is the controller that made me switch over to pioneer. When the SZ came out I was sold by its large touch sensitive platters, color coded beat pads and dual USB ports and its similar features and design like the world renowned CDJ 2000 NXS (Which I'll probably get as well). This takes you're mixing style into a whole new level! This is truly the best controller ever made and for something else to come out thats better than this, will probably take while and could only be done by pioneer...only they can out do themselves. I'm truly happy with this controller and I would recommend it to anyone.
On another note, when the SZ had just been released, people were complaining that there was an issue with the platters not being as responsive and lags when you scratch..which was why I was hesitating at first to get. But that problem has been resolved as pioneer has already addressed it so the controllers purchased after June 2014 should not have that problem. The price is costly yes, but it's worth it! Believe me!
i have not purchased this item but have tried it out in stores. if you are a person who likes to scratch, they have a fault with this model. basically, the jog wheel lags. pioneer is aware of the bug and is redoing the component (apparently it's a chip from what my guys say) and backup to this can be found on the serato website forums as well as others. i was told from a pioneer rep the updated chip should be shipping with units in june, but we'll see.
