Hi everyone,
I am in desperate need of help. I cannot figure out why my headphones jack on my hercules controller is not working with virtual DJ.
Here is my setup:
1. Laptop connected via USB to the Hercules controller
2. Hercules controller connected to a mixer via Tape/RCA cables
3. Mixer connected to speakers via 1/4 jacks on main outs
on Virtual DJ:
deck1 - Hercules - Chan 1&2
deck2 - Hercules - Chan 3&4
Everything works great except for the headphones jack on the controller, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

you haven't said which, so follow the set up guide for your controller, use the preset audio config, I don't think any Hercules gear use hardware mixing [as you have set with deck outs, you want master headphone]

Hi Thank you for replying... its a Hercules Instinct Street edition
Also, when using Master and headphones going into the mixer doesnt work. I am unable to control anything from the controller. for example, if i move the sliders for the volume on the controller all the way down, the volume still passes to the speakers. very strange behavior. It works well with Deck 1 Deck 2 though...

I ended up redownloading /installing the drivers from the hercules website and changed it to master headphones. now its working. drivers must have got mixed up with another install or something.
