Talking about Timecode, TexZK and I had a long speech in Italian forum and both of us agree about the way of dividing bits between signal L and signal R according to the second picture.
VDJ Timecode signal:

The R signal is a pure sine function!!
Final Scratch and Mixvibes Timecode signal:

As showed in the latter picture, since to both the waveforms L and R are associated bits, the latency time is smaller than in VDJ timecode signal; it uses timecode's algorithm in a more efficient way.

As far as I know, it's possible only to set "VDJ Timecode v5", "VDJ Timecode v4", "NoiseMap" and "PCDJ".
Perhaps the Signal used for Final Scratch is one of those but I don't know which is.

You should leave master tempo on the CD player off, and use VDJ's master tempo instead.
