Bascially at the moment I have the RMX for home use.
I tend to take this to the clubs I DJ at as well. But every club im at has CDJ 1000's there waiting for me, and this would seem like a waste not to use them.
All the other DJ's use Serato, but Im not too fussed on it to be honest, so i was just wondering how I could use VDJ with the CDJ1000's at the club?
Like what extra hardware would i need to buy etc for it to work :)
Cheers

all you need is a sound card and time code CD's. you can download the time codes form virtualDJ's website and then get a sound card that has 2 stereo inputs and outputs. I recommend the Maya 44 usb. put the time code CD's into your CDJ1000's and plug the CD players into the inputs of your sound card, then the outputs directly to the mixer. set up the time codes in your options/config menu on VDJ. Good luck.....

Hi, yeah that's good advice. But at the moment you only have the limited edition version, so you'll need to upgrade to professional editon in order to do that I think. You can get a discount because you already have one version of the software.
Also, if you're looking for a soundcard and the professional version of the software, you could have a look at numark virtual vinyl. That's a soundcard, the pro version of vdj (Cue) and the timecode CDs all in one box.

I use the M-Audio Connectiv (http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/TorqConectiv.html) for this purpose. It comes with Torq but I did not even install it. It's a good soundcard. The one downside is it does not come with a power adapter. I would recommend one if you go this route because if you do not and you have to reboot your computer for some reason the audio of the CDJ 1000's with a regular audio cd will be cut off. I learned this the hardway....oops! With the power adapter you won't loose power to the Connectiv while you reboot your computer.
Just last night I used this setup at a Guest DJ gig.

I'm also using VDJ (Mac) and Pioneer CDJs with the Conectiv from M-Audio. I'm tired of waiting for M-Audio's updates to Torq. VDJ is lightyears ahead of Torq. And I've only had the VDJ license 4 days!
