Topic: Country Music : Need Your Help

A place where im djing now has usually played top 40 but wants to slowly start to introduce country (new promoter has asked), i was given a list of songs and i noticed they are in the mid 80's to early 100's in BPMs but also in the 115's to 135's, my question is, what are you guys playing that is fairly current (or classics) within that range?

With Country Music, don't worry about bpm, country music fans will dance to most BPM ranges as long as it's a popular song.

2 stepping can be close to foreplay if done right ;-P

Recommend google and search for Top 40 Country Songs. What I key on is the radio stations in major cities. Odds are you won't go wrong with playing any of at least the top 20. Here is an example:

Then if you want to check out what line dancing is all about & believe me you play the correct song they will get going non-stop. Check this out. Links with the songs, written way on the steps and links to see the line dances of course!

Lastly here is a just a small take that can help as well. Depending on the average age in attendance. If you get a very young crowd then you may have to switch it up a bit with newer songs.
