Topic: current top 20 salsa dance songs?

I have another big Mexican party coming up at the end of the month, get about 1 or 2 a year. Can anyone clue me in on the most current (recent) top 20 or so salsa dance hits; cumbia, merengue, and mexican as well? Would really appreciate it. Thx, Bryant.

Hey Bryant, well first of all if its a Mexican party its going to be hard to know what kind of music there going to like because, Mexicans listen to different kind of music there no such thing as "Mexican Music Genre".. here are some of the genre they listen to, BANDA, NORTEÑAS, GRUPERAS, CORRIDOS, CUMBIAS, SONIDERO, SALSA, and BACHATA and many more so it all depends What part of Mexico they from, or if they are Chicanos etc.... but here are some songs of the ones you asked for the majority of Mexicans don't like the new salsa, they like the old school salsa for example,

Hey thanx. Last year when I did that party, I remember the Mexicans yelling out for merengue, salsa, and cumbia a lot. Then I did some research into Mexican music and the names, sonideros, bachata, guaracha, nortena, and durango came up. So I set up virtual folders named "dance salsa"; "merengue"; "cumbia"; and "mexican"(which includes songs from the above categories found in my research on mexican music).. I'd like to fill those folders with some more of the most recent songs that you recommended.

If you know of any more recent good ones in the mexican groups that'll be helpful too.

I have hundreds of hits but its too much to list. The old stuff is always the best to play but you have new hot songs also.

For merengue, you need to play the new omega songs
