What is really missing from this excellent software, is midi control, (like Traktor does very well, also mixvibes)
Virtual DJ has so many features, that no existing hardware
controller (even the upcoming new controllers) will cover them all, and i mean ''CONTROL'' is the key-word
for this type of applications.
I'm one of those people hate to use a mouse, for real-time
applications like mixing, (and I'm not the only one...)
It is a joke !! (20 years using vinyl !)
I like to play with the cue points -live- as a sampler,
(Virtual DJ does this very well - no latency).
That's why, i need midi control.
My Midiman Oxygen 8, is waiting in the corner !
SO, MIDI CONTROL, ANY CHANCE ?

Just to add, to my wish list :
1. A keyboard shortcut to load songs in the playlist
(atomixmp3 have one...)
2. separate keyboard shortcuts for
up-down in the browser sub-windows:
folders / song list / playlist.
Its hard to use the TAB key everytime for this,
and there is no ''visual'' indication for which
of these sub-windows is active.
It happens that when you move the ''focus''
from the folders (left) to the song-list or the playlist (right)
(using tab) the selected item of every list, remains selected
and highlighted with the same color.
Very confusing...
Is there a way to change this by modifying the xml (scene) file ?

almost same question - i have a mixman dm2 midi device..u know the cute one with its pair of decks,crossfader & all.
sure would be really great to implement midi thus user would be able to assign any midi event to a function ; sortof midicuts (tm) :-p
