I contacted the guys from Promo today and I sent them my signed subscription order form. The person I spoke with sounded like he/she was eager to help me get signed up. I should know by Tuesday what the deal is. I also call Screenplay but it was after their buiness hours so I have to do that tomorrow.
BTW what is the ideal spec for doing video mixing? My what I thought was a powerhouse PC, has a 3.2 ghz Intel Hyperthread CPU, 1 gig RAM and a 128 memory Nivia Quadro FX 500 video card, yet the few video mixing test I did with some sample clips I had downloaded, quickly humbled this gentle giant.
