I am telling you Cstoll, you need to verify the claims before you shut anybody down, I did check it and if the thread was old but the site was down the issue still stands and we have a right to vent our frustations with Numark.
I checked the Numark forums yesterday and took a ss which is here:

What does the availability of Numark's site have to do with Virtual DJ exactly?
Atomix only supply software to Numark under licence, if you want to have a go at Numark then contact their customer services directly.
Chris is a teamer on this site and can shut down threads as he sees fit.

You're telling who? what?
We frequently have users drag up 3 year old threads that are no longer relevant and usually are crack users with old problems that have been fixed. So why shouldn't he close them?
You should wait till it says moderator or teamer under your name before you start chewing people out.
And yes you have the right to vent, at Numark
