Looks like cheaper NS6

I like it!!

Competition for the VMS4 - but I see it only has two inputs.

If the price is right, it could be a winner.

Numark are defiantly committed.

Apparently it's £349 - quite a big leap up from the Mixtrack Pro.

Still, more affordable than the Denon MC6000.

XLR out and booth out, I like it.

Hmm, I'm torn between this or the Mixdeck Quad...........gotta find a store that has both on display.

Descions, descions
Huey

My issues with it which is why I'm thinking about upgrading from the Mixtrack Pro to just a regular mixdeck (I don't need 4 channels, that's why I'm not gonna do the quad) is because I need the ability to play cd's.....so I'm just curious what do those of us who have the USB controllers use when needing 2 play a cd cuz it takes VDJ forever 2 read a cd that I put in my macbook pro...

I'm using a regular Mac book that I got new last year and VDJ doesn't take that long to load a cd from the disk drive. I say maybe 2 min to load the cd tracks. Might need to TIDEY UP.com loose files to speed up the performance. That's what I use And CLEAN MY MAC from the app store. Just my 2 cents. Back on topic it's a nice controller. I just picked up a ns6 that I haven't even got to crack the seal on the box yet due to working overtime shifts. But im definitely going to open it up like a kid on Christmas when I vet a day off.

I'm feeling more for this one then the new Pioneer one. But I wan't be upgrading anytime soon but this one is sexy as hell.

this is a nice piece of kit! You can have timecoded aswell with this one!

sorry not trying 2 Hijack, but when I pop it in my itunes will read the disk fine but VDJ wont...I will have 2 keep inserting & then ejecting before it will eventually pick up & read the disk...

I was reading the info that is posted on www.skratchworx.com about the timecode control. I am wondering if Numark will start to make mixers with this built-in feature also???

I think this controller, soon to be released in December, looks quite bad ass. I'm assuming that the US price point won't be more than $379. Any higher than that I'd rather just invest in a controller built to last long (i.e., at least 5 years or more). I'm assuming it's pretty much the same shell build as the MixTrack Pro, light plastic.

Anyone know the release date yet?
