Hey everyone I was just wondering if the Allen & Heath Xone DX controller was compatible with VDJ 7, and if it is would you recommend me using that or ITCH (the software it comes with.)

It's not currently natively supported (See http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJ%20Controllers.html), but there are a couple of user-made mappers available for it:

You will need to purchase the full VirtualDJ Professional to be able to use MIDI controllers, download mappers and much, much more: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html - Xone DX may be natively supported in a future version - See http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Is%20MIDI%20controller%20NAME%20supported%20by%20VirtualDJ.html

NOTE: Nobody here is likely to recommend that you use a competitor's DJ software!

The features of mappers and functionality is better than Serato ITCH. Try to read the manual on this link on how it works for comparison to ITCH.

You need to buy the full pro version of VDJ 7 for you to work. I have ITCH but i love to use my XONE DX with Virtual DJ Version 7.05
