After reading a post about mis-shown time remaining on loaded files I followed through to the Wiki post about creating a 'Files to be Scanned; filter folder and pre-scanning by right clicking and selecting scan for BPM.
I had expected the result to be that each scanned file would show the BPM & Key and then not show when the filter folder was refreshed (after shut down/restart). However the list appears unchanged. I've tested with indivdual files and those that have been scanned don't have the Scan for BPM option anymore.

Think I've solved it.
They are files that have a load error.
Just done a clean & fix on the db and it looks as if the problem has gone.
