I am new to forums but am in need of some help. During every set when my computer clock hits midnight my music will freeze for a second & stop all the music. Yes it will continue but at a prime hour with the dancefloor packed this can be quite a nuisance. I have been compensating using the microphone so that the music delay isn't noticed, but I do not want to continue this. Here are some tech specs that may help: I am running VDJ7 on a 2009 Sony Vaio running Vista. I am using the sound card from my Denon MC3000. I have changed the time coder back and forth hoping maybe that would help but nope. ANY help or problem solving ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Most obvious thing is to check Windows task scheduler or Anti-virus schedules to see what is set to run at midnight. Seems too coincidental!
Also upgrading to Windows 7 may help as Vista is pretty terrible, especially with midi controllers.
Have a read of this as it seems you're not alone: http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/136682/General_Discussion/Skips_at_Midnight.html

I was having the same issues, and exactly as it states above I had some automatic updates going. Changed it up and it has worked flawlessly!! Thanks for this post!
