Let me preface this by saying, I arrange my music on and ext. hd by tracks (individual) and by complete album folder, all nested within their own genre folders....Now my question is, when I click on an album folder from my hd, the songs all displayed in the field BELOW the search field box (where the selected folder contents, in this case, appears)..... now how are these songs organized (or dumped into the field BELOW the search box)?.......I use the fields of TITLE, ARTIST, LENGTH, BPM and KEY, however the songs dont "appear" in the folder view field arranged by any one of these filters (I realize this, as I have never selected a field to sort them by)......How are the songs "dumped" into the "folder view" field?....I would like them to appear just like on the hd, arranged by the order that they fall on the album track list, but that obviously isn't happening......Is there anyone that might have had a similar issue or can offer any insight?....Thankx...

By default, they are sorted 'smart', so that songs that you have most recently played are near the top and less frequently or never played are at the bottom.
The registry tool can be used to set an alternate default sort order (E.g: By artist or by BPM):

Is there an option to "dump" the tracks in the original album order or perhaps a script to use within the registry, or is this even an option with .wav files w/out ID3 tags?....thankx

VirtualDJ can only sort by the fields available in its database (Right-click on a column heading of the browser to see the full list of available fields.)
Currently, track number field is not supported (This is irrelevant to most digital DJ's), but this may be added to a future version such as VirtualDJ v8.
If you wish to manually have them in a specific order, then you could use one of the other free-form fields of the database (Comment, Field1 or Field2) and write the order number in this field, e.g: 00 for the first track (The leading 0 is important), 01 for second, etc. If you then enable this column in the browser and click on it, you can sort the songs into your preferred order on demand.
NOTE: You could use MP3 tagging software to automatically write the track number into the comment field.
