Hi all Does anybody know the best specs to rip promoonly 80s dvds. Currently i am getting alot of pixilation and artifacts.

mp4 h.264 the same resolution of the dvd, (formatfactory freeware) video 2000 kb/sec

Hi I'm using virtual dj 5 problem i've got is when i try to play a compilation home made music dvd it will only play the first 10 to 15 seconds of each track Where am i going wrong. Thanks

i ripped mine using the VDJ video ripper app to save them as VOB files, and then i ran them through handbrakebatch to encode as x264 mp4 files using the high profile setting.
sometimes the source encoding isnt great, especially on older videos, but thats more a problem of the source files, not the ripping.
