im running virtual dj 7, compaq presario cq62 with 6 gigs ram, hercules rmx controller, pc specs for vid are as followed: amd m880g with ati mobility radeon hd 4250, approx total mem 2937mb, video running at 32bit 60hz . for pc are : windows 7 64 bit, amd v160 processor 2.4ghz 6144mb ram. now with all that info, heres my problem.
i have what seems to be good sound, but when i do video and audio it lags and sometimes freezes. i have dedicated this laptop to dj use so i have cleaned all the unneeded programs, watched a vid on you tube about setting up my pc, went to reg edit and changed some values. ive noticed that all that values i changed stayed except vidmemfree which keeps reverting back to 248. im assuming this is where the problem is, please help.
