I'm using the Pioneer XDJ R1 with Virtual DJ Pro (latest version) and for some reason, the crossfade, line faders and EQ/Gain knobs on the skin do not move. The animated jog wheels are rotating and moving properly when scratching, but the aforementioned faders and knobs don't. They worked fine with my Hercules DJ RMX 2. Any idea why?? Thanks in advance.

most likely you're using the console in XDJ-R1 (mixer hardware , not midi)
it's possible use and configure the Pioneer XDJ-R1 in two modality of the mixer section:
1) XDJ-R1: The sound is mixed using this unit's mixer. Virtualdj can be operated using this unit's player section. The mixer is hardware managed
The intenal mixer of Virtualdj is not used.
2) PC: The sound is mixed using the mixer of Virtualdj
