I'm extremely new to mixing and wish for any help I could get.

best thing you can do is listen to lots of mixes http://www.mixcloud.com/tag/jump-up-drum-and-bass/ and try to figure out what others are doing.
The music is pretty crowded in sound and melody, so you definitely only want to mix harmonic, also with dnb keep your fingers on the bass knobs, never blend both fully, the bass itself is an important character of the music and should stand out. Last hint would be to avoid mixing vocal parts.
