VirtualDJ - Record Error - Can't open MP3 Encoder

Hi there,

could not find the solution in the Mac Version VDJ forum, so here is my issue.

I try to record audio mix in VDJ. Go to Record, Config, choose MP3 Format (btw no option to choose encoder there), press OK, Start Recording and i get error message: ** Record Error ** Can't open MP3 Encoder

Some info on my setup: Mac OS Mavericks, VDJ 7.4 Pro MAC.

Please advise,

download and run this tool:

run Virtualdj and enter your serial number

Thanks, did that, restarted Macbook Pro. The error is still there. By the way, VDJ allows me to record into WAV file. But when i choose MP3, i still get th error. :-/

What else could be done?

Just change the destination path and file name.
Then it will work.
