i figured i can keep the old version for back up.should i uninstall it or is something else wrong .need help thanks

Delete the settings.xml from the VDJ folder and it should start then

Version 7 and version 8 can co-exist in your computer without any issues. So you don't really have to uninstall any of them.

Have you installed version 8?
If so you should have a settings.xml
/Users/YOURNAME/Documents/VirtualDJ

found settings xml should i delete it still ? i closed and reopened it it came right open..
i thought i had to login with google ..i logged in with virtual dj info and I't showing my license
