I mentioned this in another thread but I think it needs it's own thread as a bug report.
If I select a bunch of tracks (40+ for instance), right click and select 'Batch', 'Analyze for BPM etc' it scans the tracks and I can see it change the values of a number of tracks to an 'INCORRECT' value. Tracks that were previously scanned and given a value of 128 BPM are changed to 122 BPM. Also the beatgrid markers underneath the waveform do not align with the peaks anymore.
If I then individually select each track and 'reanalyze' the BPM's it correct's itself to the correct BPM's and the beatgrid markers under the waveform align underneath the peaks.
It is repeatable. I can provide a video of this happening if you like.
Unless I am missing something of course.
EDIT: This is also happening to key detection. I selected a bunch of tracks and scanned them. One of the tracks keys changed. So I scanned them again. The key changed back. I scan them again and it changes once more. Flipping back and forth between one key and the other. If I scan that one track on its own the key never changes.

Having the same problem. any fix yet?
geposted Mon 26 May 14 @ 6:09 pm
should be fixed in an update out real soon..
geposted Mon 26 May 14 @ 6:46 pm
Does that mean a new rescan is in order?
geposted Mon 26 May 14 @ 11:29 pm
Yes. You would have to rescan in 8, anyway. I would wait to confirm that the issue has been addressed, before a mass scan.

Uh!
So how come my VDJ upgraded today from build 1802 to 1806 and not to 1814?
Where is the manual handler to force it to update?

1814 is a Beta Build, being released a bit earlier. If you want also test that Beta Build Releases, just sign up under "My Account" right at the bottom " Get Beta Builds" and you will get a automatic update as soon as there is a new build

Okay, I see. Thought that my updater was not walking synchronic.

that´s why i replied....;-)

Well, I rescanned my library from scratch - meaning the database was not imported from 7. Now I have no gigs coming up and the unit can happily scan away.
So that would be recommended? If so, I'll just delete the database and have it rebuild. When safe of course.)

I would scan a couple of small batches first, to make sure the batch scan problem has been fixed. I would not be in a hurry to delete anything. Just copy, and hold on for awhile.
