no matter what setting i put the autogain feature to, it still automatically adjusts the gain. i don't want it to adjust the gain for me. when it sets the autogain above 0db songs end up clipping. i have the autogain turned off and it still changes the gain when i load a new track on a deck.

have a look in the tag editor. is there a entry in the gain field. if so, delete it and do a new scan. after that, check the gain field again. if there is no gain value, try to play and watch if there is still a gain adjustment.

I had the same problem. A very quick solution, activate the "Recurse" function (right-click the folder of your mp3) and then press CTRL + A, then right click the selection and open the Tag Editor. Then just put the gain to 0 (it will be for all your mp3).
Then the auto gain work !
