My CPU still seems to be spiking into the red whenever I load a track into a deck in V8, so I had a thought. If I were to take my V7 database, and put it in my V8 database would that help to cutback my CPU usage? Also I thought by doing this MAYBE all of the "automatic" automix points would go away and leave them where I put them in V7. Will any of this work? Thank you.

No, well yes but it's a stupid amount of work,
try options songloadpriority set this to low
the better option is to analyse your tracks before hand

about CPU is due this: http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/189832/VirtualDJ_8_bug-report_Forum/Constant_Skin_redrawing_eating_the_CPU.html and for now the only way to solve this, is changing "maxSkinFPS" to 15 & "songLoadPriority" to idle (both options are in advanced options).
