Hello everybody,
Since the update on Thursday my Virtual DJ 8 does not work properly on my Mac.
Problem is that after about 1 to 2 hours it constantly crashes and closes the program.
So I am forced back on Virtual DJ 7 access back. Can someone help me or has the same problem ???
Greeting Niklas

Myself and another one of the guys in my company are having the same issue. It crashed on his computer twice on Saturday so he switched to VDJ7. It happened to me once on Saturday so I switched to VDJ7. I tried VDJ8 on Sunday and after about an hour it crashed and shut down again so I finished the event with VDJ7. Please help.

Crashed three times on me at a gig on Saturday night! Also the display froze once, but the music kept going (I just mixed into my iPhone and then restarted VDJ).
Seemed to happen when I was either a) loading a song from Content Unlimited or b) running up a loop and moving the jogwheel.
CPU level was no higher than it normally is.
Please tell me this issue is being worked on. I have two gigs this weekend and reliability is paramount!

FYI, you can download build 2069 from http://virtualdj.com/download/virtualdj8/mac/2069
Could you confirm if that one does not crash?
Also, you are all using OS X 10.9 or earlier?

To receive the beta builds to all of your computers, enable the "get beta builds" option from your Account.
To receive the beta builds only to a specific computer, enable the setting getBetabuilds from the Advanced Options of VirtualDJ

djdad i did some poking around before i noticed your reply.....i downloaded the 2087 build (i am not sure but i think it's not the beta version because i hadn't enabled the option in my account you mentioned)...at the top of the settings page it states mac build 2087....anyway i tested the programme for three hours without experiencing any hick-ups................of course i haven't tested it in broadcast mode where it has been crashing......i really don't feel comfortable 'cause i got a gig coming up......stay with mac 2087 if it continues to hold out?go to beta?.....use vdj7 pro?.....thanks again for your help

I had a gig today and I had "dead air" for a good minute. I did not have this issue with my last laptop (latitude e 6400) Kind of makes regret upgrading to a macbook pro with all the issues! I tried everything here and I still need to "force quit." My screen freezes when I use content unlimited.

Crashed twice during my Friday night gig, so I had to fire up VDJ7 for Saturday night. Not pleased....
