Very strange problem all of a sudden. When mixing two videos, if I have the transition set to Fade or any effect that involves fading (such as Alpha Fade) it doesn't smoothly dissolve. It just does a straight jump cut when the crossfader in the middle, or it will do three steps: A on, A/B 50/50 mix, and B on.
Meanwhile any transition that involves stretching or warping (such as FlatCube) still works great. But a plain old crossfade would be good to have again.
