I just see on the VDJ facebook page that the XDJ-700 is now natively supported!!

I am going to give it a try immediately !!

:(
My VDJ 8.1 2770.1092 does not see my two XDJ 700's connected and does not display them in the sound card overview :(

PS: I first deleted the XDJ700 test zip file in the devices folder before I tried this..

2821.1097 is the latest build

geposted Sat 23 Jan 16 @ 2:29 pm
That's the early access build maybe, but not the public I'm using?

geposted Sat 23 Jan 16 @ 2:32 pm
This is my point - you will probably have to either use the "early access" build or wait for an update to the public one.

Unfortunately the Facebook posts doesn't specify which version is required.

Nope, even with build 2821.1097 my XDJ's are not recognized and do nothing..

someone must have jumped the gun with that facebook post .. it's not on the wiki as supported yet either.

It will be available with controllers build .1101

geposted Sun 24 Jan 16 @ 7:16 pm
I can confirm (with my current build 2827.1111) my XDJ-700 is now working perfect (natively) if you ask me.

PS: @VDJ crew: Don't forget to update your VDJ 8 supported controller page.

happy happy joy joy :)

PS: Don't know where this come from, but I noticed yesterday that the browser keeps jumping to the first or last song in the active folder.
I had a song marked, so I could load this one next, and suddenly the browser (on my notebook and also on the XDJ) jumps to the first song in that folder... I had to search again to find the song I wanted to load...
This keeps happening even when I don't touch anything.

Glad I found this post regarding a bug with the XDJ 700 as I have been experiencing the same problem. I was wondering if this bug exists when using other pioneer cdjs in HID mode.

I have read in another forum that "the jumping" in playlists also exist with CDJ's connected with RecordBox HID mode... If you use a USB stick or the Pro-Link/Ethernet connection, everything works fine. So it look likes it's not only a XDJ bug...

This bug is a firmware bug on XDJ-1000 and XDJ-700
It does NOT occur on any of the CDJ-XXXX models we have tested.
We DON'T know however if this bug occurs on the new CDJ-2000NXS2 since these devices (CDJ-2000NXS2, XDJ-100 and XDJ-700) share some parts of their firmware.

Hi. Everytime I set up and switch on, the XDJ 700's are never configured to VDJ 8, therefore having to go into settings and start over. There must be a way of storing the setting. I click apply and the little disk icon to the right. Plus, the right deck plays through the left deck on VDJ and vice versa. (Sometimes this dosnt happen). I can't work out how to switch over apart from switching usb leads over. Any advise please?

Look in Pioneer manual. The deck options menu may allow the specifying of deck 1 & 2.

The XDJ700 IS a Soundcard, So if you use 2 XDJ700, you have 2 soundcards
