Topic: .VOB files

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hi all, For awhile now I've had a few .VOB files freezing the video but not the audio. No big deal I can live with that knowing which ones they are. Last night however almost every .VOB file would freeze. I don't really want to convert about 3500 .VOB files to MP4 if I can avoid it!!.Win7 VDJ8 latest build. This only happens when connected to external screen. Any thoughts? Regards, Steve.

let's see if this will help (just guessing).

on config/option/video, videouseDXVA (use the search for DXVA it;s quicker, make sure advance is tick), change it to NO (I think default was YES).

Easiest way is to upload it to something like dropbox or any other cloud storage and then provide a download link.

Played perfectly first time in VDJ on my laptop using the on-chip Intel graphics. I then swapped over to the AMD Radeon HD 6630M and it played on that card too.

Must be something to do with your configuration or video drivers.

Here is my video config:

Thanks for taking a look. Do you have external screen hooked up? I can play it perfectly as well without an ext screen. Only happens when ext is connected. I'll compare video settings tomorrow.

Just ran it from HDMI (external display) to my Samsung 55" LCD and again it played fine.

Try deleting your settings.xml and try again

Videoforcefullscreen I've set to 1. Mine was on 0.
Also changed Videomaxmemory to Auto. Mine was on 256 for some reason.
Seems to have fixed it!!! So far.
Something so simple!
Testing lots of vobs to make sure!
